📍 Location: Malawi (with field visits to rural communities)
💼 Employment Type: Full-Time
⏰ Start Date: March 2025
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, implement, and manage clean energy projects in off-grid rural areas.
- Collaborate with community leaders to identify and address local energy needs.
- Oversee the selection, training, and mentoring of women entrepreneurs in solar energy distribution.
- Monitor project progress, track key performance indicators, and prepare detailed reports.
- Ensure project goals are met on time and within budget.
- Promote awareness about clean energy through community engagement initiatives.
- Assist in scaling and replicating the project model in new regions.
What We’re Looking For:
- Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Development Studies, Renewable Energy, or a related field.
- Proven experience in project coordination, preferably in the non-profit or renewable energy sector.
- Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in rural settings.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management tools.
- Fluency in English (knowledge of local languages is an advantage).
- Passion for sustainable development and empowering communities.
